Can foreigners rent a car in Vietnam?
Yes. If you drive yourself (self-drive or monthly rental), bring three physical documents, your home-country driver's licence, an International Driving Permit (IDP), and your passport. With-driver bookings need no licence documents.
Do I need an International Driving Permit (IDP)?
Yes, if you drive yourself. You must bring your home-country driver's licence, an International Driving Permit (IDP), and your passport, all physical originals. Copies and photos are not accepted, and if any one of them is missing the car is not handed over and there is no refund. With-driver bookings need no licence documents.
Can I pick up the car at the airport?
Yes. You can choose an airport handoff point by region, or we confirm the exact spot through consultation.
Where do I receive the car?
On the booking screen, choose airport handoff, delivery to your hotel, or a branch visit. For hotel delivery, just enter your hotel name and we bring the car to the entrance.
